25th March, 2022

Dear Residents, Family and Friends,
Our Building works program has progressed at a steady rate over the last few weeks in preparing the site,
although there has been some delays to this due to rain. Majority of perimeter fencing is now in place, and
excavation works on the Eastern side of The Shores in preparing the pad level is well progressed.

As a look ahead for the next fortnight, we anticipate the following works to be undertaken;

From Monday 28th, demolition work and excavation will begin more in earnest around the Western side of The
Shores, and also include areas to the rear of the main kitchen/delivery yard area, the chapel and waste area, and
the very northwest corner of The Cove courtyard. All these spaces are being re-built over the coming months,
including a new Chapel, a new waste collection area, and a rebuild and extension of our main Kitchen, and a new
delivery yard area.

Also commencing next week, the main air conditioning units servicing The Shores eastern wings will have to be
temporarily relocated to allow the works to continue on that end. There will be periods where the air
conditioning will not be operational during the week on some days, however the builder will try to keep those
outages as short as possible. Also on the Eastern end, in ground plumbing work is expected to get underway.

From the week commencing Monday 4th April onwards, it will largely be more site excavation works continuing
in preparing the pad levels – predominately over the Western Side during that week. And on the Eastern side, in
ground plumbing work will continue.

We look forward to these works progressing, and ultimately delivering new spaces for our residents to enjoy and
live in, here at BlueWave.

Yours sincerely,
Matt Downie
