After 28 years at the helm, Jennifer Eddy has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer of BlueWave Living.
It has been a privilege and an honor to have Jennifer’s strong leadership for the past 28 years at BlueWave Living. She leaves us all with a very bright and healthy future that she has been key in creating.
On behalf of the Board, Management, Staff, Residents, Industry peers and our Community we would like to thank Jennifer for her extraordinary contribution to this organisation by overseeing and leading its growth from a very small community based aged care facility to the outstanding, high quality establishment we see today.
Following on from Jennifer’s retirement, we would like to introduce our new CEO, Matthew Downie. Matthew brings with him a vision, passion and enthusiasm for the industry which will no doubt see him embrace, and enhance, the standards of care for BlueWave Living residents that we have all worked so hard to achieve.
Matthew has spent the past 8 years working with the Strathearn organisation in the Upper Hunter. He has been responsible for moving that organisation through lots of positive change and substantial growth and is now looking forward to his new role with BlueWave Living.
For ten years Matthew has enjoyed working in the Aged Care Sector and he is extremely passionate about the industry and the opportunity to make a positive difference to elders in care, and to the broader community.
