BBQ Boat Outings-Ship ahoy!
Each year BlueWave Living receives a generous donation from Margaret and Albert Quilkey that goes towards a holiday or a special event for our residents.
This year the residents requested a boat outing on beautiful Brisbane Water.
The outings were held over two days on the 8th and 9th December for approximately four hours each trip.
The boats from Andersons Boatshed at Booker Bay are comfortable with padded seats, shade cover and a built in BBQ so that residents really enjoyed a wonderful BBQ lunch on the day!
Many residents were able to try their hand at some line fishing also.
38 residents enjoyed the days out accompanied by staff and volunteers. The weather was perfect and a reminder of what a beautiful area we live in.
